Getting Plastered

-

A new texture I am having fun with -plaster and newspaper pages. I sealed these with polymer medium, and then layered watered iridescent bronze, some other acrylics and a bit of distress ink on top. Delicious and dilapidated!

Both of these are part of my new sister-project journal, which is off to a great start, and providing a much needed stress release & distraction.

And note the colour in that last one. Dude, I am soooooo not afraid of colour anymore! My colour class with Julie & Chris has now wrapped up, and it was a great learning experience. I would highly recommend.

  3. Amazing! I am so jealous because the only thing I'm good at when handed glue, plaster and acrylics is gluing my fingers to the plaster and acrylics.

  7. Thank you so much! :) Yes, I love this texture! I wouldn't mind making a whole book of plaster pages to work in...with wires... *ideas brewing*

@Deb The Layer Love course is by far my favourite so far. All are really good, but that one is da bomb!
